Thursday Jul 15, 2021
Thursday Jul 15, 2021
Crafted and wild, Simon and Victor's opinions on the Inanimae swing as wildly as the narrative about when exactly the Solimonds were first shaped by human hands while reviewing Inanimae: The Secret Way. Diving further into the history and book design than their original episode on the Inanimae this is the episode for you if you ever wondered how the sessile ones actually fit into the world of changeling.
The themesong for this episode was Je voudrais être un pigeon by Monplaisir.
If we've inspired you to pick up Inanimae: The Secret Way and try to use it in you games, we have a convenient link to it for you that helps us out by keeping those oppressive glomes deep in their mines.

Mind's Eye Theatre's Changeling: the Dreaming

Tuesday Dec 01, 2020
Hope everyone survived their gluttony holiday.
Taking a quick break from our regularly scheduled metaplot walk through to discuss the MET Storyteller's Vault release of their Changeling: the Dreaming LARP book. We tried to limit ourselves to the narrative elements of the book since our LARP experience is pretty thin, but we both though it was a good offering. The art was an especial highlight.

Dreaming: the Reviews--Denizens of the Dreaming
Wednesday Nov 11, 2020
Wednesday Nov 11, 2020
Probably not the worst in the Dreaming lineup (that would be Land of 8 Million Dreams), but Denizens of the Dreaming should get at least nominated for an ignobel prize in game development. Join Victor and Simon as they attempt (and mostly fail) to find something nice to say about the book that exists as paper-thin connective tissue between 2nd edition and the Time of Judgment plot Dreaming barely got.
The themesong for this episode was Je voudrais être un pigeon by Monplaisir.

Metaplot: the Dreaming--The Shattering
Sunday Nov 01, 2020
Sunday Nov 01, 2020
We're almost done with the our prelude for Changeling: the Dreaming's history. Soon we'll be able to stop saying things like, "because of the Mists", "Remembrance is a whole thing", "every book has a different take on this". It's going to be amazing. But for now we're talking about the Shattering and we're going to be leaning pretty hard on our greatest hits of how to hammer the Dreaming pre-history together.
Join us as we attempt to explain the strange, slow-motion, path of the Shattering's migration across the mortal world.

Dreaming: the Reviews--Noblesse Oblige
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Sunday Oct 11, 2020
Today Victor and Simon will lose all their anti-Nobility anarcho-syndicalist something something Shadow Court something pro-proletariat cred by reviewing Book of Houses I: Noblesse Oblige and mostly having nice things to say about it. If you're curious about the four major Seelie Houses in Concordia (Gwydion, Eiluned, Dougal, Fiona) or the delegitimized House of rejects who got exiled in the most contrived and somehow boring way possible (Liam) this book is for you.
The themesong for this episode was Je voudrais être un pigeon by Monplaisir.
If we've inspired you to pick up Noblesse Oblige and try to use it in you games, we have a convenient link to it for you that helps us out by getting us a useless Title from our fancy overlords.
